That’s actually (sadly) reasonable now.
It’s list was €60 ($70) in 2014

I thought briefly bout buying it and holding on to it for a few and selling it later but said fuck itThat’s actually (sadly) reasonable now.
Buy the box, then break it out and sell off the remixed version? Surely someone would bite.I already have the Mono box so I don't need the original album. Just wish they'd press the Escher demos separately
check you local Walmart's, seen it at some for under $50Kinda'd be interested in the remix since my stereo press is so-so. If anyone sees another good deal on the Remix + Escher pls tag.
I have a mono white album from those reissues a few years back and am perfectly happy with it. But yeah I also just ordered the newer deluxe version for those Esher demos. I have heard them before, but I've somehow convinced myself I actually need them on vinyl... oops
Is this seat taken?Hahaha! You’re in good company. I’ve both too. And the MoFi of the original stereo mix…

Showed up today, can't wait to dig into it. That being said, am I alone in thinking the opening to the box should have been on the other side?

Haven't cracked it open, didn't realize the book was popping through as the cover to the box. Makes senseTraditionally yes but I guess they did it that way so that the front of the book lines up with the cut outs.
Let us know how you like the extras Anthony.Showed up today, can't wait to dig into it. That being said, am I alone in thinking the opening to the box should have been on the other side?

that sounds like someone with a axe to grind more than a reviewJust got my box as well! I'm enjoying the remix on first listen. Will spin the others later!
Did see this review on discogs as I went to enter it into my collection:
"1969 Glyn Johns Mix" my arse. They used the 1970 Mix for the most part and edited in the missing bits and pieces from the '69 mix tape with various errors. For example: "For You Blue" is the 1970 Mix with new vocals recorded in January 1970.
Yet for some bizzare reason, the 2 additional 1970 Glyn Johns tracks on the EP are sourced from the old "Vigotone" CD bootleg of John Barretts Cassete dub including a lot of distortion on "I Me Mine" from whatever remastering/frequency enhancing process they used. So you get a 1999 bootleg CD in worse Quality on vinyl. Way to go... :'D
