Got Midnight Blue (quick cellphone checkout) and then decided to get Speak No Evil when i noticed it was still available but then it sold out while i was trying to decide what to order with it :(

So if someone decides they don't want their copy of SNE or has an extra, please let me know :)
 
Wow, late to this party! Glad I didn't have my eye on either this time around. And happy for all of you who nailed it this time!
 
Decided to finally pull the trigger on AP’s Somethin Else pressing with the 15% off sale going on! I respect AP far more then MMJ and feel way better paying $50+ for a record to a company like them as opposed to the blatantly gluttonous MMJ. I feel it’s only a matter of time before Blue Note gets around to reissuing all of those highly sought after titles at an affordable TP price point anyways.

Looks like they have limited stock of Blue Train, Maiden Voyage, and Somethin Else left if anyone wants to utilize the 15% off just enter 15PERCENT at check out

This is the 2020 list that was announced in December. I think we've all just been waiting so long since the last releases in this lineup came out (in April, which seems like forever ago now!).

It seems they are done mastering this whole lineup (Joe posted video of Kevin and him in the studio working on Bass on Top on May 3) and have already been working (in some capacity) on finalizing the list for the next year, because Joe has been hinting at confirmed titles for it.

I own the AP Something Else. You'll be happy with the music/pressing. Worst part about AP pressings are the super thin jackets they use. Just a double wide single sleeve. No tip ons or gatefolds

Not a great feeling to check email on Saturday mornings after feeding the kids breakfast and find out that I missed the one drop I was most excited about. 6am pacific on a Saturday is really a big fat middle finger to customers.

Yea...it does suck. I think no matter how released it though it was going to be an issue for people somewhere, sadly. I strangely got an email from MM about it going up which I did not think they were going to do. They maybe should have done it around 12 to at least be a little more fair to west coast people.

Very curious to see what they do next time. They don't want to do preorders, which is understandable because they take 9+ months to be pressed at RTI and they don't want to hold peoples' money for that long. If they press 2,000 copies of each, I almost guarantee that they are going to have backstock of them for a LONG time. I think people are particularly drawn to them because they are very limited and have great resale value if you decide you don't want it or need to sell it.

If I was a betting man, I'd say their next batch, if there are more, will see the price raised to $125 and they will press a small amount more than they currently do. The price tag will scare a lot of people off and make them not sell out instantly.
