I already did . It was supposed to be back in August and they said it keeps getting delayed.Acoustic Sounds shows it coming back in stock in Sept. But you may want to ask if that date is solid.

Fwiw my Midnight Blue was thankfully flawless, Idle Moments on the other habdLittle scared to play this one after reading some comments here @Ghost and on Hoffman , but will get to it the weekend. BTW I preordered mine quite bit ago online and it just came today, so I wonder if it was either really over sold or perhaps recalled for the defects some earlier people have mentioned ?

I’ve got the same problems with my copy.Seems to be a problem with most of them. Did you get a lot of weird noises on side 1?
It came from the CD, which was the first US release.Just got Sonny Clark My Conception TP and noticed that it was given a 2000 series number that (I think) does not exist right? How was that decided? I know it was a shelved release and only received an official release in the late 70’s but just wondering if anyone had insight into how they chose that number?
That’s pretty funny (edit: and childish). Their personal and speaking styles and homes (video backgrounds) couldn’t be more distinct. But Ken’s reviews aren’t always this detailed. I think he went out of his way to really distinguish himself.I wonder who Ken's beefing with

I guess I’ve been lucky bc I haven’t had a single problem with a Classic release.Seems like the Classic's are inching towards 75th territory a bit

Pleased to hear you got a good copy. Mine was okay after a clean or two, which is good news as I've been after a decent pressing of this for ages...!Just finished a listen to side 1 of Idle Moments and it looks like I have dodged the no-fill bullet so far
Update: no issues on side 2 either. Phew
Hadn’t visited Joe Harley’s IG in awhile and have missed some of those titles him and BoomBoom have been working on. Hot damn…maybe these had all been announced and I wasn’t paying attention. Some interesting comments about other titles that they want to do.
Kenny Burrell self-titled
Gerald Wilson - moment of truth
Harold Vick - steppin out
Freddie Hubbard - breaking point
Jackie McLean - tippin the scales
Grant green - the Latin bit
Sonny Redd - Out of the blue
potential titles:
Lee Morgan - Taru and Infinity
Someone asked in the comments if Joe had considered Lee Morgan - Taru for TP treatment and he said “yes as well as infinity”I'd seen a few but not heard about the Lee Morgan's. Any reason why they are 'potential' is it a guess?
On the Deep Groove Mono blog that @JohnnyCashFan posted it had a bin of master tapes which looks to have 5 Lee Morgan tapes & 2 Duke Pearson, so I'm assuming 2 Lee Morgan Albums and a Duke Pearson. Might fit with Taru & Infinity
(I still need to get the latest Tone Poets, might have to wait a little while this time. I've not seen them reasonable priced anywhere for the UK)

Decent! These 2 are amongst the few that I dont have of Morgan's. The original artwork sucks but the music is killer.Someone asked in the comments if Joe had considered Lee Morgan - Taru for TP treatment and he said “yes as well as infinity”
With the Bennie Maupin quintet now widely exposed via the Lighthouse set, Taru makes sense. It is a very good album. Infinity is earlier, and less essential, but still very worthwhile.Someone asked in the comments if Joe had considered Lee Morgan - Taru for TP treatment and he said “yes as well as infinity”
I knew as soon as I picked up Taru a year or so ago it would be a selection in the series at some point. Happy to see that, the music is wonderful! “Haeschen” is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I’ve ever heard.Someone asked in the comments if Joe had considered Lee Morgan - Taru for TP treatment and he said “yes as well as infinity”
