I don't have Anthology so don't have a dog in this fight but I'm curious why they would reprint many thousand Queen covers for a regular old ROTM vs 1,000 covers for their new prestige project.

They noticed the Queen error before they shipped. We noticed the Dexter error (we also informed them of the problem with Horace before they shipped and they still went forward with the wrong cover) after they shipped.

I also wonder if the Queen error was on the plant’s end and had minimal impact on the company’s financials. Here, they obviously sent a file that had not been completely checked to the printer and both VMP and BN had signed off on it.

Yeah, I don’t think Lloyd has as much to do with it as you would think. This is akin to the response to Snoop.

They also never learn. The right thing to do was confess to the screw up when it was noticed and state that they would look into how to correct the issue. Then they would have gotten lots of feedback on how to resolve and could have made the best decision to appease all parties.
