Like when The Beatles finally went to a digital format, where did they do it? On iTunes, because brand synergy.
Through airplay, so pretty much the same as every other device? Unless airplay 2 is something different (and I don’t think it is)
Also a good reminder that AirPlay 2 may or may not be lossless, depending on the endpoint. No airplay 2 came out like a decade ago and is pretty much the standard airplay unless you’re using a very old speaker.

I think I saw it’s not roon certified for some reason? Not sure if it’s finally been certified or not. Haven’t heard it myself but upscale and audio advisor carry it I think.Has anyone had the chance to hear the Auralic Vega S1? I've become very curious about that unit, but it seems like so few dealers carry the brand these days. But I always loved their products that I heard years ago.
They've got Roon ready on the website, so I'm sure they got that taken care of.I think I saw it’s not roon certified for some reason? Not sure if it’s finally been certified or not. Haven’t heard it myself but upscale and audio advisor carry it I think.
I don’t recall ever having an issue like that using Roon. Interested to see if anyone has any ideas. My only thought would be to make sure your Roon is set to accept all file format types, if that’s available. Don’t have my laptop here so forget where I’ve seen that.Weird question time… anyone have any idea why I can’t play the new Altons album through roon? Works fine to the NAD from BluOS, plays fine on my phone through the Qobuz app. Have not had any other issues with anything else I have tried to play through Roon. You press play and it just sits there eventually skips to the next song, then says there have been too many errors and stops the queue.

I don't use Roon but I do put all my albums in folders with the FLAC files and .jpg for album cover. I have had that .jpg for unknown reasons cause issues like that, just went online downloaded another one and worked fine. If you have any random files outside the audio files try taking them out and see if that helps. For my use, I usually try to stick with .jpg under 300x300 to avoid issues, but again not Roon. Just throwing it out there.Weird question time… anyone have any idea why I can’t play the new Altons album through roon? It’s a Qobuz album? Or local? I’ve had that randomly happen sometimes with a Qobuz album then the next day it’s fine. Never really bothered to check to see what caused it…Weird question time… anyone have any idea why I can’t play the new Altons album through roon? Sometimes a reboot helped. Other times it seems to have been fixed randomly later. Haven’t had that issue in awhile but mostly been listening to local files lately!Qobuz.
Are you running Roon on a dedicated machine (NUC or Nucleus)? I used to have a similar issue with Room when I was running my core on an old Mac laptop. When I built a cheap little NUC they went away. I’m running a Nucleus now and still haven’t had them return, so it’s been awhile. I just assumed it had something to do with the laptop.Weird question time… anyone have any idea why I can’t play the new Altons album through roon? Laptop. It’s basically a new toy (Roon) - not ready to commit to a dedicated machine. Are you running Roon on a dedicated machine (NUC or Nucleus)?
