The football thread RenegadeMonster is looking for: NFL talk

I don't know much about his interim head coaching experience in Miami, is that something he did? I'm hoping for hope over here...but social media is ripping this guy apart.
I have no clue and he might actually be on the forefront of aggressive decision making. It was just the feeling his Concussion Uncle speech gave me.

Yeah, a bit of a Jim Tomsula vibe. Like players love him because he is a player’s coach and a leader but you just don’t know if he can lead a team just on his “rah-rah” mentality alone. I really think it’ll come down to who his coordinators are. TBH, I would be looking at Adam Gase. He was a train wreck of a head coach in Miami and New York but he was a really good OC for the Bears and Denver and I bet he would be great for Stafford.

Bill O’Brien and Doug Pederson would be great OC’s too.

I agree. If he isn't the Xs and Os guy but has great coordinators it can work. First off, this team needs to bond. Patricia literally ran guys out of town, good players who had pro-bowl seasons. We always heard he has a genius IQ, is a rocket scientist and all that, but it clearly didn't translate.
preferable to winning 5 games as the Lions OC
ouch

but deserved
