The Good Ol' Grateful Thread

I was at Saturday and Sunday this past weekend! And totally agree with your assessment - unforgettable experience.
what sections did you sit? We did a last min. boys trip for my 50th, so we went big on Friday (section 100) about 2 rows outside the overhang. That was unreal. But DAMN, Saturday in section 400 was pure fire...after I got my vertigo in check. My brain is still trying to decompress. One head, on nite two, was like "this is good and all, but I can't feel it" (sound wise). I was like, there is perfection, when every person hears the clarity. You could hear everything so crystal clear I could not believe it. Zero post show ear ringing.

So for Saturday originally had section 100 tickets way back under the overhang, but heard that was not the way to go, so swapped them for 300 level instead and that ended up being great! Sunday night had GA floor so it was really cool to compare the two perspectives. Good things about both - the 300 level was great to take in all the visuals at once, but I got so enthralled with them a couple times it was hard to pay attention to the band as much as I normally would. Floor was cool cause it was so much easier to focus on the band, but you couldn't take in all of the visuals at once because you were so close - definitely cranked my neck looking up so much 😀 So yeah, cool things about both and obviously the visuals are stunning, but like you said, I absolutely appreciated the sound - perfect volume, no ear ringing, didn't need to wear ear plugs - the sound was just pristine.

This is pretty cool - you can play around with the “mix” of WOTF and Veneta 72.

I used to have this on CD (it's probably still in a box in my parents' basement) but I wanted to listen to it this weekend given the anniversary and all, and it's not on Spotify or available to purchase from Apple Music. Does anyone know where I can buy this digitally?
Update: the CD box set routinely sells for >$300 on cogs. Looks like I need to visit my parents soon...

I am not sure you can buy it anywhere, however I MIGHT know someone who has it and can send it your way if youre interested

Thats quite an interesting combo. I don’t know anything about those shows
The Alaska shows are good quality shows from 1980, particular 6/20 and 6/21. The Sugaree from that run is particularly tasty.

6/12/70 doesn’t circulate at all, but is known to be in the Vault because a portion has been played publicly by Dave Lemieux. I haven’t heard much of 6/13 as it has an odd mix of what I’ve listened to. So a clean SBD would be greatly appreciated.

Uncirculated 1970 show is all I need to know

Pretty big drama in the Dead & Co shakedown community this past week. I'll post the Reddit thread of it, but a lot of it was documented via Instagram stories of victims reaching out.

TL;DR - A few lot vendors but mostly Holy Moly Mischief are being (finally) called out for their pervy, predatory behavior. HMM was finally removed from Vegas shakedown and hopefully is gone for good.
