The Good Ol' Grateful Thread

…is this a nice press?
I love this album so much, and am tempted
Not sure, I have an OG. Looking over info from the 2017 reissue entry there isn’t too much information on the black version but the blue limited pressing says it was “remastered from the original master reels” and someone in the comments list a runout of: with KrG@CA but based off my best guess they really mean KPG@CA the runout make it look like it was probably pressed at RTI too.

So, if it’s remastered by Kevin Gray from the original tapes, and pressed at RTI, I would imagine it’s probably pretty good. Obviously not 100% sure so maybe someone else on here who owns it can confirm but based off this info I am half tempted to pick up a copy myself.

I have the recent baby blue press…it’s 🔥🔥

I’m no handwriting expert but carefully looking at the other markings …there’s a R on others…it must be a P because the R’s are very distinct

Also… I was extremely lazy before and just copied the cogs 😂😂😂
I guess Big Kev could has an evil twin that’s also an audio engineer at Cohearent Audio. Who’s to say really.

Aaaaaaand gone.

How was it? Looked like a good setlist!

First set song selections were great, but we couldn't hardly hear John's guitar in the mix and Bob's tinny guitar tone was way too high.

Second set came out blazing with the sound mix fixed - basically Althea -> Eyes was top tier, but lost momentum from there and Not Fade Away meandered on way too long and never went anywhere. Brokedown destroyed me as usual for the encore - Incredible.
