There have only ever been 2 years in which no white men were nominated for AOTY and those were the 2018 and 1999 Grammys. Play an album by an artist who isnt a white male
Arooj Aftab - Vulture Prince (signed)
I mean...over half of my library is valid lol. I'll go with this one as I've seen her the most times of any artist in concert (3x) and also with Arooj being the recipient of a Grammy herself (Best Global Music Performance for "Mohabbat").
Day 6 Barbra would eventually become an EGOT winner but she got her start on the stage, play an album by an artist who also has been in a Broadway show
Sting wrote the score for and starred in the Tony-nominated production of The Last Ship.

I absolutely love this album, I've spun it countless times.

This month is crazy for me between it being inventory time at work and my best friends wedding next week so I have a feeling I’m gonna be in catch up mode quite a bit lol
Day 6
Play an album by an artist who also has been in a Broadway show
I didn't agree with his politics, but I do like some of his albums (the ones he did with Jim Steinman)...and dying from Covid isn't pretty.

As this VMP release was the same crap retail release, I'd hope VMP would go back and reissue it, or repress it with the EU Optimal plates instead of the Rainbo.
Torres – Sprinter Partisan Records – PTKF2121-1, 2015
Play an album where two great minds came together to make an album.
I really haven't played this enough to have an opinion about it.

Play another albums whose release felt like a big event.
The initial CD/Digital release in 2019 was an event - the vinyl box set, not so much. I'm glad to have it on vinyl, not glad to have paid the original full price for it. Going for $40 bucks right now it seems. I'm also glad they released the other 3-ish LP version, as it's just easier to play. Funnily enough, it's going for more money than the box set...so is the limited CD release w/ the shitty LCD screen.
Tool – Fear Inoculum Tool Dissectional/RCA – 19439-86879-1, 2019/2022
I just got home and I need to spin some records.... so catch-up time! LET'S FUCKING GOOOOO!
Day 1
Harry Styles – Harry’s House
Harry is the newest winner of AOTY, play the newest album you've fallen in love with
Ezra Collective "Where I'm Meant To Be" (2022 Partisan)
Can't get enough of this record. Absolutely love the opener with a guest spot by Sampa The Great. Brilliant use of the Fela Kuti interpolation. This was my jam over the weekend - I was playing it as a pump up song on the way to my daughter's meet. Such a banger.
Day 3
Taylor Swift – Folklore
Taylor Swift took a sharp turn into the indie sphere and win her 3rd AOTY, play another album where an artist successfully changed genres
The Flaming Lips "The Soft Bulletin" (1999 WB; 2019 reissue)
The Flaming Lips took a bit of a turn starting with this release.
