It was available at 10:01, I "almost" put it in my cart, but decided against it - not enough variation. I did buy the Sasha Barr show print (blue) since it will look lovely next to the Luke Martin -- IF I ever get around to framing them.

I wasn't going to get to MSG til around 3:30-4pm ish, but I learned that there were already 8 people queuing at 8:30. I got there at about 12:20 and was #31.
GA entry was a disaster (you'd think by now they know how to handle it) but the truth is they really don't care. First people showed up around 7:15am, and just barely got on the rail. Somehow I was fortunate enough to get a great spot and had enough room for a friend of mine to squeeze in next to me.
That friend finally got "Berningered" last night - he sang with her, then sang with me. She was SO happy, and I was so thrilled for her. Matt threw his cup to me last night. It was a really fun day / night seeing so many people that I have met over the years through this band.

Apparently, she was attending Jack Antonoff's wedding in NJ. I heard that the venue location leaked and a bunch of swifties congregated outside.

I was in at 10, going after the Barr variant - added that one first then carted the Martin variant on an impulse. As I was checking out I got a pop up saying that the Martin was no longer available.

With Homecoming this weekend and the two recent singles, people on the subreddit have been believing that the album is dropping nest Monday. This might be the album artwork...which is...horrendous to me. I wouldn't believe it, but I didn't believe the leak of FTPOF and I was wrong so all bets are off here. I do think the album is coming soon, but I'd venture to guess not for another couple of months.

I was hoping for some sort of reason in FTPOF...like some reference. But nothing. Based on the leaked trackless though, there might be more of a purpose to it. Either way though, it's such a bad aesthetic choice.

I read something about it recently. The kid is the son of some friends of the band and thought taking a pic of the mannequin head would make a good art project. The friend sent the pic to the band and they apparently loved it and decided to use it as the album cover. I may have some details wrong - I'll try to find where I read this.

I think I'd rather they hold it until next year, I'm not a huge fan of bands releasing more than one album in a year (Beach House is the only exception)
