The NBA Thread

The playoff picture in the East is going to be very interesting with the 3 way tie for 2/3/4 seed with just 3 games to go. Also seeing who gets the pull of having to face Brooklyn in the 1st round. I love how strong the East is this year as every series will be fun to watch.
If I'm in the east, I'm doing everything I can to avoid the Raps in the 1st round.

I would LOVE to see Brooklyn lose the play in game. Even with Kyrie, they haven't been unbeatable the past couple of weeks.
That would be great too. Id also love another Bucks/Nets series this year, though not in the 1st round. The game last week, and game 7 against them last year were 2 of the best NBA games I've ever watched.

I am fairly certain The Bulls will get swept in the first round after backing into the playoffs. I am gonna go ahead and start rooting for The Grizz as my back up. Any excuse to watch more Ja.
I think something good is starting to brew in Chicago. If they can keep healthy and keep building they'll be around the next few years. I'm hoping to play them to spark a little Wi/IL rivalry that we've never really had in basketball. It's great for sports!

Mythus Thybulle can’t play in Toronto cuz he only received a single dose of Pfizer. This is weirder/dumber than the Kyrie situation. Even if you decided after the first dose that you didn’t want a 2nd dose and were gonna roll the dice on trying to get through the season without getting a 2nd dose, wouldn’t, as the playoffs approached; you think it might be worthwhile just to bite the bullet and get the second shot? I get that it wasn’t what you were hoping for but the fact that already got your first shot kind of eliminates most extreme arguments for holding out and not getting the 2nd dose will have a detrimental effect on your team.

I didn't know he got one shot. This might be the dumbest thing I've heard in a long time. I can't believe professional athletes would let their teammates down like this. If I was Embid, I'd be so angry that another year of my prime is being wasted due to nonsense.

I think the Raptors win in 6.

While extremely disappointing and ultimately dumb, there's a difference between trying to become a martyr and the public face of an antivax movement vs. not talking about your decision until you have no other options.
