Portland is a bad matchup for the Lakers. LA has a tough time defending and shooting the 3. If Bron and/or AD aren’t on every night I could see an upset brewing.

Solid showing. Memphis is going to prove to be a handful in the coming years; Ja Morant has an explosive skillset for a 1.
McCollum with another much improved shooting performance, Carmelo with another 20-point outing (dare I say best 3rd option in the bubble?), and some vital defensive plays by Trent. Nurkic played fantastic with a double double-double after learning of the passing of his grandma

Yeah, I could use a breather, too, haha.
I’m kind of glad they had to push so hard just to make it to the playoffs - having that kind of pressure on every single seeding game might make them better prepared to bring that level of intensity to the Lakers.

To be honest, I thought it was an awful game until the end. So many foul calls, awful shooting (can’t remember the last time I saw a game with 3+ corner 3’s hit the side of the backboard...but the end was fun. Plus I love seeing Melo swipe blocks and his huge 3 (and Gary Trent’s).That game went a lot differently than I expected. Regardless,

Draft lottery tonight. Due to the Knicks history, we will either get the #1 pick in a draft where there is no consensus #1 pick, or we'll end up dropping in the lottery from our projected rank. I think there was some stat that the Knicks have not moved up in the draft during the lottery in like 20 years.

Yea--of course he was great. But with the Knicks luck, we'd finally get the #1 pick again in a year when there's no standout talent at the top of the draft...Most media was convinced we'd get Zion last year but most Knicks fans knew better. I don't even know who we'd take with #1 this year. Our new president repped LaMelo but it would be interesting to see who our new head scouts like...
The Knicks have been somewhat quietly killing it with their new FO hires. I'm cautiously optimistic about our future...

New footage has come out regarding the incident at the end of last year's NBA Finals where the Raptors won. Masai Ujiri got into an altercation with a sheriff deputy as he was going onto the court to celebrate.
The officer SUED UJIRI alleging that he shoved first. Masai then counter-sued. Now we can all see this footage, and what exactly was this moron thinking WHEN HE WAS WEARING A FREAKING BODY CAM?!?!?!
