Day 10 - Where Pathways Meet
Makaya McCraven - Where We Come From (Chicago X London Mixtape)
Not only is this a crossover between the modern Jazz scenes in Chicago and London respectively but. McCraven’s recording process involves record live improved jazz sessions and then remixing them much in the same way a hip-hop producer would with a dusty soul-jazz album from the early 1960s.

This challenge is a lot of fun because there is the literal prompt and then there is a song prompt. From the words, I had been thinking about playing the first Watkins Family Hour record or the Traveling Wilburies. However, I was cleaning a stack of records that includes my play tonight when the guitar came in and well I decided to play this:

Which also meets the literal prompt in a number of ways:
