Day 27: Clean Up

So whenever I get to cleaning, I usually put on my earbuds and play something at random on my phone, because when I put a record on I usually can’t hear it over the vacuum. So in the spirit of that, I went with the Discogs randomizer and...

Day 28 - needs a reissue

Orchestre Baobab - Mohammadou Bamba

This both needs a reissue, and is getting one! This is one of my top 3 ever African records and everything is great on it - the title track is beautifully melancholy but the album also has some of the Senegalese group's best upbeat songs. And the cover is just wow (it's on the wall in our entrance so had to photograph it there). This should be reissued in February, and I'd wholeheartedly recommend anybody with an interest in African music to check it out.
