Right?! Last night I got one and it was slowly moving over my river. I patiently waited for it to clear the shore line, it was over my flower bed and I shot it down...........it landed in the flower bed and disappeared

Which leads to my question, I know about water, but does it have to actually hit "land", meaning if you have some sort of "ground cover" it's going to go bye-bye.
