you can also fence them off in a unused portion of your islands.There’s rumor that the way you furnish your home can affect your chances of getting good items in balloons

my prices have been plunging since last week. my prices were in the low 30s yesterday and my Nook's Cranny is getting upgraded today, so I'm hoping for a big swing before the end of the week

Turnip exchange might be worth checking into if you get into a turnip bind although it is a bit frustrating...you essentially join a queue for when someone has really good turnip prices. When you get to the top 3, you are given the dodo code. Most people just want you to drop them a 99k in bells or some Nook Tickets if you sell. Some others ask for more which I have just avoided. I only really use it if nobody here or any of my friends have good turnip prices.

I had a huge swing last week after being really low all week.
 
This site is interesting. I don't know if it actually works or not but I've entered my numbers for this week and the predictions are fairly accurate.

Yea there are quite a few of those now. Pretty on point in terms of if you’ll have a spike or not. There’s one called “turnipprofit” hah

thinking about getting ac. Im ride or die physical kinda guy in regards to purchasing.
I’m thinking this may be a good digital purchase.

I waited as I’m not super into AC and unfortunately don’t have a lot of free time like many others do right now. I am thankful to still have a job at this point so count your blessings right ?

so would everyone think that this is a good digital purchase or should I go physical since I’m not but I to the series and may need to trade it in at a later date ?

Also I’m a little overwhelmed with the amount of time it would take to get to terraforming.
Thoughts suggestions encouragements welcomed haha

I used to buy physical when my apartment had a GameStop within walking distance. If it’s a game I’m unsure of and paying full price, I still will buy physical. I wasn’t sure I would be into AC since I never played the others but am having fun with it so far! I do think I’ll get tired of it at some point...

Since you aren’t sure if you’ll like it, maybe go with a physical copy if you can get one. the game does benefit from you playing a little every day to unlock things but it doesn’t have to be a big time suck if you don’t want it to be. Work is real slow right now for me so I’ve been playing a bunch...but when I started I only put in 20-30 min a day and still had fun.

I think it's the perfect digital purchase. That's what we did. For the amount of time you'll probably play it, it's nice to just have it always available. But if you do think you might sell it at some point, then a physical copy might be right for you.

I got it digitally because in a perfect world I would be playing it along with another game, if that game was a physical game then I wouldn't have to swap out the cartridges.

I previously wasn't super into AC, but I gotta say I caught the bug pretty hard with this new one and have played it everyday since I got it.

I got to terraforming just today, and I think it starts off pretty limited in what you can do with terraforming (honestly I'm not sure as I haven't had a chance to dabble in it at all). so I only unlocked the feature after playing about a little over a month. I'm sure others got to it quicker than me but I am not rushing to see everything as quickly as possible.

all in all I'm enjoying it much more than I expected to.... though every once in a while I get that feeling that at some point I'm going to grow tired of it and question the amount of time I pumped into the game creating an island that I'm going to eventually neglect.
