I think the surprise is half the fun, but you CAN go to atm and search your inventory for any high price items (usually those are the rare ones), but yeah... get the cool stuff out of your house, or if you sold something cool and don’t currently have it you can order it tonight so that you have it ready tomorrow. Expect to need to rearrange your house afterward, and take it as an opportunity to follow that YouTube decorating video that was posted today!
 
By the way, I figured out how to hack the game if you are, like me, taking your sweet time picking villagers (I just finally hit #8 last night when I stumbled upon the rhino with the horn made of short cake).

I had been waiting on campers and had told 2 no when the inquired into moving but then realized campers only come occassionally. So I lamented and planted a house and then decided to go island hoping. Boom! Run into a boring horse. Proceed to tell him no, thinking I would maybe say yes to the camper that was at my spot (she had initially made a bad impression via being smug / superficical but then did a magic trick for me). But before going home, I decided to hit up a 2nd island (because the one I was on had my native fruit). And BOOM, another villager- the rhino.

I just planted another house today and just went island hoping and was immediately hit with another villager. I'm debating whether to keep them or see if it happens a 4th time.

I have my upstairs coming tomorrow so I'll be rearranging anyway but I will fill my pockets with some cool stuff for tomorrow. Just cataloging right? We'll be able to go home with whatever we brought with us?

I'm most likely on a decreasing turnip cycle (72% chance according to TurnipProphet) so if anyone has a sell rate of 101 or higher, I'd just like to break even.

And speaking of rare items, if anyone is hot on the Imperial set, I've somehow stumbled upon the bed and desk. Happy to swap or provide for cataloging!

Starts at 1pm est

This is ONLY for N&G fam, no randoms invited

I will PM you a dodo code, please don’t share it. (If we have more than 4 interested then I will PM you a dodo code once people start leaving, and ask those that can hang around and are not in a hurry do so that everyone can get a fair shake.)

There’s 5 total stalls along the south beach/grass area

When you get to the island take the first one that is unspoken for and drop all your items

After a couple minutes I will announce a switch, that’s your signal to go to the next available stall, pick up all the items and then drop them ALL back down.

We will do this until everyone has had a chance to go to each stall

exit through the airport,
