The Roost - All things Animal Crossing: New Horizons for Nintendo Switch

Woo, been a whirl of a week with moving into our IRL condo, so finally getting back into the swing of things. Becky moved out, which is fine because she invited herself anyway. Went to 15 islands yesterday hoping for a dreamy, but ended up settling on Sherb. Maybe I'll keep him, but we shall see. Zell was originally my horned critter of choice, but I just saw the inside of his house on another island, and it's not to my liking. Had Beau and Lopez as backup choices, but Sherb may shake up that mix.
Congrats on moving IRL!

If you ever want to get rid of Sherb, let me know! I grabbed Lucha today which I am excited about hah. Love the inside of his house. Otherwise, I have some kinda boring people aside from Tex. I'll start more actively looking for new people. My fiancee loves Melba who is new to our island too. Knox is kinda annoying. Patty is pretty boring, I'm a bit over Rocket...

Tex is by far the best

There are a few options it seems...

1) essentially bully them hah. bop them in the head with your net a lot. ignore them any time they say your name and run at you. never talk to them. Eventually, they will want to move out.

2) If a camper shows up, just talk to them over and over again. They'll have you play a card game and if you win it, they will move in and you can choose who will move out.

3) Sometimes villagers will be walking around sad and say they want a change of scenery and you can just say yea! do it!
The first one is not right. If you hit them in the head or push them around they will get angry and yell at you.
This counts as an interaction.

Just not talking to them for 14/15 days seems like the only way to trigger them in wanting to leave.
Visiting villagers in their house and leaving without talking might increase the neglect, but I'm not sure if this is confirmed.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!

Yes, yes she is. 😂😂
Yes, definitely DON'T hit her with your net.
Just completely ignore her for like two weeks while still interacting with your other villagers.

If it happens that another villager wants to leave, quit out of the game before ending the conversation.
Then don't talk to them again that day.
Next day another villager will have the thought bubble indicating they want to leave.
That way you can force the thought bubble on a specific villager.

Man I booted up New Leaf last night for the first time in a while, and the music is just SO much better in that one. Miss a lot of the characters that aren't in NH yet too.

Also, for those who think that not giving them medicine when they fall ill will cause them to leave... doesn’t work, they’re just forever sick.
That never even crossed my minds you psychopaths

Also, I have your golden shoes DIY--let me know if ya want me to just mail it (can you do that with DIY?) or I can swing by at some point.

Awesome! I can get you a dodo in about a half hour?

Redd is on my island today if anyone wants to check out what he has. I bought the first thing I examined so don't know if the others are fake or real. Let me know and I'll send ya a dodo code
