Yo, I haven’t tried to catch this elusive stringfish yet but I might make it a goal today. It’s near the mouth of the river? Where exactly is that? I don’t want to drop 100 bait in the wrong area.... are we talking the OCEAN near the river.... the RIVER near the ocean.... or the 10 steps where it’s really both?

It’s up on the elevated parts of your island from 4pm-9am...sturgeon (another rare fish leaving in March is at the river mouth all day
 
Ok I'll try to figure out how to share a friend code on here and open my gate up this afternoon. If you wanna bring other fruit, all I have are pears and coconuts.


Edit: oh wait do you have to have a Nintendo online subscription? Cause I do not have that!
 
Oh nooooooo! I forgot Tom Nooks shop was closing for remodel and now I’m stranded all day without any mystery island tickets 😔

My wife and I have caught multiple stringfish at this point but we can't get that #%#}^% sturgeon... We both used about 30 fish bait each in the river mouth last night with no success. 😓
