One from this month’s Thornbridge subscription, a collaboration with Hong Kong brewer Young Master.

A very pleasant Weizen from the Hitachino core range.

Cloudy, silky and tasty with citrus and tropical fruits aromas

Starting the evening with this lovely 3.9% session ale from Bristol’s Arbor

Moving on to a much heftier but deceptively so, 8.2% DIPA from Mother Earth Brew Co. Super fruity up front but nice, dry finish.

Finishing the night with a cracking lager from Swedish gipsy brewery, Omnipollo teamed with Bavarian brewery, Camba delivering the goods and it is really, really good.

Adventures in Aussie beer. Bit limited just now as we are in lockdown, but these are some pretty good supermarket craft beers. Been on a bit of a session/golden/lighter beer trip at the moment.

We also now have a second/beer fridge, so I can start stocking up!

First day back at work in three weeks today. Did three hours then everything got cancelled and I got sent home. Great day at work. A nice bottle conditioned light pale ale to start the evening.

Hitachino’s Amber Ale

A simcoe hopped pilsner from the Thornbridge subscription box, collaborated with Deya of Cheltenham, one of the hottest brewers this side of the pond at the moment. Nice beers alright but tend to be a touch on the pricey side.

This Red Rice Ale from Hitachino is a new one to me and it’s delicious. A light hint of strawberry coming through, lovely colour too.
