Still one of my favorite bands, and they always put on a great show live. I was hoping to go to Ed's Christmas show that he does every year in Atlanta, but the wife doesn't like them so it seemed like a waste for expensive tickets. I've mentioned before but the first time I saw them in Boulder they played for over 4 hours straight. It didn't sell out so they let us all rush the floor and they were having so much fun that they went through their whole catalog. These Craft reissues are insanely good too. Really hope they keep it up and do Dosage next!

I've never heard this artist before, but I've seen the album title floating about and every time my brain just plays the part of At the Drive-In's "Mannequin Republic" where they repeat "They call it a wasteland / they call it a wasteland, baby."

What is Elliott Smith - Either/Or?
While Elliott went on to show he could create some amazing lushly-produced music, I equally love his early albums, where the tape hiss and basement recording quality add to the intimacy.
