I think this is their best since Demon Days.
You do know that Plastic Beach exists, right?

i’ve always been confused by the demon-days elititsts (not that im calling any of you that) that say plastic beach is horrible.
like how could you say you like DD and not PB?? they’re both S-tier material
I am aware. It is a good album, but never wowed me in the way the first two did.You do know that Plastic Beach exists, right?
I will say that I'm probably the odd man out in that DD is my least favorite of those first three. I like it, I just don't love it like the other two. And I never owned it until I got the vinyl.
But yeah, Plastic Beach is still my favorite Gorillaz album by a wide margin.

I’m very excited about Song Machine...I’ve only heard the first 2 songs they released and told myself not to listen to the rest of it to go in blind.
Ive heard great things from my buddy and y’all and can’t wait for my deluxe to show up Monday
But you didn’t get the deluxe right? Its excellent easily their best for me since DD
But you didn’t get the deluxe right?
Yeah I got it from pop market on saleNo I just bought the standard at my local, the price difference was just too high.
Ifs a mess, it doesn’t tie together sonically and it gives me a headache. That said it had 2 or 3 songs on there that I love. Superfast Jellyfish and On Melancholy Hill being the main two. Demon Days is just so damn consistent the whole way through and has 4 of their 5 best songs as it’s singles.
Also calling someone an elitist for having a preference is a weird take. Should I call anyone who prefers Plastic Beach, which has to be the majority on here, PB preference braggarts?
the link in your download code is incomplete, it should read:My deluxe edition of Song Machine came in today. Halfway through and it sounds great. But I can't for the life of me figure out the download code. The site is redeem.warnerartists.com/songmachine and it says I need to sign in but doesn't have a place to register. I made a wmg account using the help website but that apparently isn't the same thing. Anyone have any ideas?

Plastic Beach is far and away my favorite album of theirs. Is it their best? Well that's up for discussion of course as everyone has their own opinion of the concept album, but one thing for sure it's their most thematic and cohesive effort. That said, Demon Days is no lemon either. To me it's the opposite. I like a couple of songs off of DD (Feel Good Inc. and Kids With Guns come to mind) but don't really love it as a whole. Plastic Beach is a perfect album as far as I'm concerned. Not a bad song on it. The two Little Dragon songs are probably my favorite though, and Lou Reed's "Some Kind Of Nature".
Is it weird that I like The Fall almost as much as I like Plastic Beach?
