Toronto Weird Boys

Not that I've seen but I'll keep an eye out. I highly doubt Sonic or Rotate will.
I can't see Sonic doing it, I say 50/50 on Rotate doing it.

Looks like Play De is setting the price at $50-64, which actually is a good price point considering a monthly international sub was like what...$70-75?

I think the issue is just how faulty their presses are. Like are you willing to pay $50-65 without no fault replacements?

That is very true. If they could be remotely reliable I'd definitely pick up the occasional one, like I have my eye on that Ghostface.
But the lack of CS replacements is definitely a cause for concern.

By the way:
Anyone know what to expect in Toronto for RSD? I'm really debating it. I know Dead Dog has three I'm either wanting or interested in (The Beat, Raekwon and Stress Eater) at about 3-4 copies each, and they open at 8am. I'm not sure that kind of getting up early and lining up interests me, and I'm debating just waiting for scraps on Saturday.

Likely chaos I would imagine, I just can't with any of it.

Yeah, I think that's where I'm at now. You can't even listen to Stress Eater yet...I'm only about 50/50 on the Raekown (It's no Cuban Linx). The Beat is the only one I truly want, and I don't know if it's worth it really. The thing seems good in theory, but annoying in reality.

recordcellar.ca has a VG+ copy of "Special Beat Service" for $26 shipped, which made the decision to be warm and toasty and not have to deal with a bullshit line that much easier.

Prices aren’t bad. I wonder with all these resellers if they will continue to get new ROTM or if it was just a warehouse dump
Tbh I just left Play De after picking up Moment of Truth for $38 (for a 3LP!), so not sure if this is standard pricing or Eugene is smoking the good shit.

Edit: Sonic had it for $1 more when it was in stock so I guess that's standard, but surprisingly cheap.

Sold some shit at Sonic this week. Wasn't super happy with the pricing. The dude I was talking to was telling me they have a hard time moving VMP shit. Who's paying decently for VMP shit in town?

You could try Rotate, they tend to take it. Sonic totally depends if which underling you get doing the appraisal... Some are much better than others...

I know when I sold some stuff back in October the buyer made a comment about “more VMP records”. There were at least 20 different VMP titles in the used bins at Sonic that day.
