U-Turn Turntables - Discussion, questions and advice.

Someone may have made a request on IG and received a positive response...

I wanted to share, because I hate when I pull the trigger, only to see an option I would have preferred become available a few weeks later.
This was what happened to me two months after buying a blue plinth, they came out with the new arm AND the hardwood walnut/maple options. :cry:
 
So far so good. The quality and looks are top notch.

It came with a 2M Blue cartridge, which is a new cart to me. My general impression of the cart is that it pulls a lot of detail out, but leaves some weight/bass on the table. I'll likely switch in my Grado Opus3 shortly, to hear how that sounds.
Completely agree with that assessment of the 2M Blue. Very interested to hear Opus3 takeaways!

i dont know if buying the isofeet would be worth it for me.. i bought some vibrapods already but my turntable is still susceptible to skips if i accidentally move the table... i think it might be better to just wait until i get a new turntable
 
I have very bouncy floors, this is what it took to keep skips from happening:

There are four slabs of quartz counter top. Each of those has an Isoacoustics orea bronze on it and then a slab of butcherblock counter top.
