I've asked for a couple of replacements and the order info shows it as the LP's only. Has anyone had any replacements yet. I'm just nervous about how they are going to ship them without jackets. Last thing I want is them rubbing together on route.

Or a couple of sheets of high grade sandpaper to hold them in place

No jackets, just in the black poly lined inners. My four replacements were fine when they arrived (the warp being unrelated), no sign of wear from the shipping.

The first Durutti Column record had sandpaper on the outside so it would destroy the records next to it on the shelf. Ian, amongst others, helped assemble the record package.

To be fair it wasn’t his idea, it was Tony Wilson’s. And yeah it was “Return of the Durutti Column”.

He cribbed it from a situationist author whose idea was that it’d destroy all the shit books either side of it. Joy Division did agree to make it for extra money but the rest abandoned Ian to do it while they watched hardcore porn and drank cheap beer because he needed the money more having a wife and young kid.

I received an email from VMP saying it’s shipping in late May and to make sure my address is correct on my account no later than May 21st. So I’m assuming they’ll start shipping that last week of May. I’m excited too!

Thanks for the info! I was listening on podcast so I may have missed some of the finer details. The whole thing is kinda nuts. Very punk rock (post-punk) I guess.

I’ve resisted the Herbie box so far, but all the praise is def causing me to reconsider. What price have recent purchasers been able to get it for? I see $349 in cart & know there was a discount for previous Anthology purchasers or current members (I am both), but can’t find anything looking through old emails from when it was announced way back when.
