Playing catch up now, but yes this is correct.I believe Sam Records also said Pallas was disappointing lately and they might switch plants. Every plant seems to be having issues but GZ is still the worst. Optimal is probably a little tier above. These places are frantically trying to keep up and it results in bad QC. I don't think it'll be solved anytime soon sadly.
Yea--they are one of my favorite labels for a reason. Best customer service I have experienced (and I think I only have to contact them once because everything is usually top notch). I know some people who bought a Sam records record from a shop that had an issue and they contacted Fred to see about the possibility of a replacement. he sent one out right away even though it wasn't purchased directly from him.Playing catch up now, but yes this is correct.
I had a strange mark on my copy of Billy Harper that resulted in clicking and Fred sent over a replacement straight away and messaged to say that he had a few issues with Pallas for this title so he is no longer using them. The first issue I have ever had with Sam (after buying every release from the start) and this is how they deal with issues, top-notch stuff and really goes to show that quality can be achieved with effort and decisive action.
Intervention Records is the same when it comes to replacements. Shane is absolutely awesome and sent out a replacement disc when mine arrived with a bunch of scratches due to loose vinyl.Yea--they are one of my favorite labels for a reason. Easter egg in a vanguard anthology email I just got: Country anthology in 2022
Storf hinted at a Willie Nelson one earlier this year. Which would be awesome, but I'm on board for pretty much anything Country.
I'm all in for a Willie box, but I really hope it's not just Storf's way to get the few remaining Willie records that he's missing.Storf hinted at a Willie Nelson one earlier this year. Which would be awesome, but I'm on board for pretty much anything Country.

Im sure it will be a mix of big releases and some less known (including some missing storf ones). He did pick Shotgun Willie as the track pick, and that wasnt a missing album.
It was only a matter of time.Looks like an Impulse anthology is next. In the anthology gif in the latest email
also depends on if it's GZ and digital sources or not. My guess is they will have to do some digital sources since a lot of the tapes were destroyed. It was only a matter of time.
Going to be interesting how this one will play out. I wonder if its going to be a mix of classics with a couple of contemporary releases thrown into the mix. Im definitely going to be interested in this but it all depends on their picks if I already have any of them.
look at that orange that's decorated like a baseball too!Obviously, my excitement will depends on where it's pressed (and what titles are included), but I am super excited that it's coming with a cheese platter and artisanal olives.
