probably pressed at RTI. but they are still confirming stuff and trying to find out release dates.I’ve been away from the forums for a little while. Any update on the Impulse anthology?

the kinda funny thing is that they could have pressed it at RTI 3 years ago...but wanted to press it at their plant as the flagship product.Hahahahahahaha..... there is sooooooo much you can read back through!
Long story short, further delayed and now being pressed at RTI, iirc.
They gave people who kept their anthology order a discount code. So, I wonder at the end of the day if VMP is gonna compensate anyone for these delays.
I refunded mine when the whole lawsuit thing came up, but you'd think 6mo + delay deserves some kind of money back, right?
Like, if you stuck all the preorder money in a high interest savings account for like a year, you got a stew going.

Neither have iI have received no such code for holding onto Impulse at this point.
They said they are waiting to lock in details about where it will be pressed now that their plant is not happening. They said once they know what the timeline looks like, they will then email folks. I’ve gotten emails about other delayed albums but not the anthologies yet sinceAnyone know how many of the Impulse box were sold?
I just looked (because how could I remember?) -- I paid $429.93 back on August 1 2023. I can't recall any emails about the delay, not to mention discount codes, from VMP at this point. Have others received emails about the delay?
Unbelievable.
This is….not true as far as I know. Unless you got a code for an anthology and most of us didn’t… But they did say they would compensate somehow once the details for updated timelines comes out. They gave people who kept their anthology order a discount code.
I’m pretty sure I would have made about $7 in interest in a high yield savings account that compounds itself for a year. Maybe my math is off and it’s even less…Like, if you stuck all the preorder money in a high interest savings account for like a year, you got a stew going.
Oh… I guess I was misinformed. This is….not true as far as I know. Unless you got a code for an anthology and most of us didn’t… But they did say they would compensate somehow once the details for updated timelines comes out.

Would be nice if they gave people some store credit for keeping their orders but I’d guess a code. My guess is some kind of 40% off code which I think they did for some of the other delays.
But if VMP sold 1,000 boxes at, say, $350 each on average, that's 350K x $.05 in a high-interest account -- and you can see they make $17,500.00 just by holding our collective cash for a year. That's real money. Would get them most of the way towards their sound system for the bar. This is….not true as far as I know. The communication is the real problem. But if VMP sold 1,000 boxes at, say, $350 each on average, that's 350K x $.05 in a high-interest account -- and you can see they make $17,500.00 just by holding our collective cash for a year. I know pre-orders are a thing, I've been participating in these anthologies all along, but VMP holding out for a full year on this box, without any attempt that I have observed to reach out with direct to consumer email explanations, man.
Anyways, that's my mini-rant. I cancelled.
I don't disagree with you. Aside from the fact that there's no way VMP had the foresight to put any of that money into a high-interest account hah.But if VMP sold 1,000 boxes at, say, $350 each on average, that's 350K x $.05 in a high-interest account -- and you can see they make $17,500.00 just by holding our collective cash for a year. Yep. I know a lot of people have told them this on discord. Even an email saying "We are moving the album to another plant and will be in touch with more details as they become available" would go a long way instead of just letting people sit in the dark for a year+.The communication is the real problem.
