I tried to pin down the release year and couldn't find anything definitive. Did anyone else? Questionable at least. There are some other releases from 69 with a higher cat number, iirc, but that doesn't always mean anything.

King, Does The King's Things
The first reissue in 40 years of Albert King's stunning covers album of Elvis Presley classics, this is the Classics Record of the Month for June 2020.
Number of letters in the title and probably the release year.
I was streaming it this past weekend and my fiancée was super into it. I think it will be an album that we throw on during the weekends just like James Booker was.
It is not AAA. But was done at Plangent which a lot of people rave about.
I can attest to it sounding amazing. I couldn’t ask for better sound quality, personally.
I'm so tempted to buy the Bruce Springsteen box set Plangent did but I have spent WAY too much money on records while in quarantine and already own just about all the albums in it in various forms...
Haha yeah I can relate. The Errol record is my first experience with Plangent but I am eager to hear more.
I need to at least get Nebraska, but I keep putting it off. My original is crazy noisy. IIRC, even Mr. Analog Fremer said it was an improvement over the original, right?
I was just listening to my OG Nebraska pressing actually. It's not bad but mine is in really good shape. I think just about everybody said those Plangent pressings of Bruce sound better...Bruce is the one who pushed to do the box set apparently after hearing one of the albums pressed with that process. I think Bob Ludwig remastered them too.
The consensus is get what you'll spin! Albert King is available to stream so you can take a listen. I personally like it and think I'd get a bunch of listens out of it. If you don't like any of the ROTMs and have a bunch of the swaps already, then go for credit. I've seen people in australia say they will swap for credit on their main track and then use that to buy an Analogue Productions pressing (if those are still in store and ya like any titles).
