Intrigued by the Dorothy Ashby album. I’ll probably search for a cheap VG copy of King Curtis, which appears to be abundant on Discogs.

Ah I see. I think they likely realised that a lot of the Classic warps are because of the small booklet and didn't want to continue with them for the other subs. But because they are 46 records into the Classics its too late to completely change the format.

They completely changed what hip hop got by giving us a booklet instead of a stencil

I listened to some of it on the Spotify playlist and it didn’t stand out in any particular way... but also I’m not huge on the blues in general, so I was expecting this would be a pass for me.

May and June on the other hand... well June in general should be interesting because my sub is up in May. Are they still offering bridge subscriptions? Because if not I’m probably out after that month.
