Vinyl Me Please Classics

The earlier VMP clue also was simply "bop" so it is possible it's one of the older sessions from around 1953 to 55 or so, from before hard bop really took over. Kenny Dorham Quintet immediately stood out to me from that more limited list.

Edit: although it is worth noting that also means many of those older recordings were originally 10-inchers. I don't think VMP would go so far as to release a 10-inch ROTM, but in the case of Kenny Dorham Quintet, it saw a 12-inch reissue in the 1980s that had some bonus tracks. Or they could get silly and make a 45 rpm 12-inch with the original tracklist. The possibilities are endless!
they did a sinatra 10" once. i believe it was a store drop or a special thing in some way.

Might it be Marcus Miller who produced Miles?
I don't think Marcus Miller was born yet when RVG was recording in Hackensack.

It will be Teo, which goes into the category of lost sounds that can safely remain lost. A light, pleasant record that is entirely forgettable, and which reached the cutout bins back in the day quickly.
