Well don't forget that they're working around the clock to implement a new model of community engagement that will replace and surpass the old forum. I mean it was obvious enough that they couldn't do that without shutting down the forum on two days' notice; it stands to reason that some other company functions (e.g. shipping, quality control) may also get short-changed while all hands are on deck building the great new thing that we're all going to love.

Yeah that would only make sense, but that doesn't seem to be the case. In general I'm not loving this new shipping. For whatever reason their Media Mail shipments from NC seem to crawl to get up here, and it hasn't even shipped! It's funny because under the old system I would always get my stuff before most people's orders had shipped, and now it seems the tables are turned. Honestly I think getting the "record of the month" past the month's midpoint is very lame.

yeah...I got my shipping notice yesterday (11th), but it had already gotten to Seattle and was shipped out on the 8th.

Aaaaand it has arrived! Wow, these are all beautiful records. They're all flat and undamaged. The color on OutKast is GORGEOUS! The mirrorboard cover looks stunning. The foil on Phoenix looks great. I love the deep brown color of the Novos. Gotta go to work now (the records don't pay for themselves), and I can't wait to come home and spin these!
