It would get a sign up from me, which is dumb because I already have multiple copiesOooh, I did not think of that one. Would be very into this pick.

Same! I love the album but it would also be a pretty weird pick for Essentials. I would wager that anyone who likes the Dead already has the album and anyone who doesn’t like the Dead or psych rock will probably hate the album. It’s by far their most experimental studio recording. It would get a sign up from me, which is dumb because I already have multiple copies
Yeah, I agree it would be a weird essentials pick. And honestly it doesn't need a repress. What's available sounds really good. It's Terrapin and everything after that needs to be pressed.Same! Yeah, I can't imagine Anthem is going to draw in the casual vinyl crowd. I don't even fuck around with primal Dead and Anthem is a tough listen if all you know is Truckin'.Same! Two debut albums. Interesting. 1998 and 2013. 1998 is definitely Lauryn Hill. 2013 could be Lorde, Disclosure, Haim, or Arianna Grande.
I'd love to replace my copy of RTJ1.Haven't had what I would call dance/electronic release since ?Darkside?
2013 could be: Chvrchs or Disclosure?
What 2013 should be is RTJ1.
What my guess 2013 will be is: The 1975
What my fear 2013 will be is: Imagine Dragons
Yeah, I recently picked up a nice 1976 pressing but for as often I listen to Anthem that is good enough for me. Their pre-Workingman’s albums are fine but I much prefer that material live than in its studio iteration.Yeah, I can't imagine Anthem is going to draw in the casual vinyl crowd. *INTENDED to press a billion. In actuality pressed 2500.Never underestimate Dead Head Nation . Remember when no one thought those Dead Anthologies would sell when they pressed a billion of and sold for $500
I’d find that even harder to believe than Anthem of the Sun.Velvet Underground seems to be the popular guess for the Rock Essentials.
I don't know what a Kacy Musgraves is nor do I care to find out. With all due respect to Musgraves, I foresee a lot of swapping in March.
