Brilliant! I have always loved Vol.4, some killer songs on there. Have to admit that im not too familiar with Sabbaths later work, Dehumanizer must have been around the time Dio was part of the group?

Vol 4 is my favourite Sabbath lp...and the only Vertigo original I have too

Tony Iommi is so underrated. Even in metal circles all the talk is about the frontmen but Iommi is just killer.

plus i think this album is a little too weird for VMP to release

they called lloyd miller free jazz so i think the shaggs is too much

I get a good feeling about Sleater-Kinney’s release actually though. I’ve enjoyed most of their singles! Might swap The Shaggs for Sleater-Kinney

It's just waaaay too left-field for VMP to do as an ROTM. And plus, like @duke86fan said, it's not that hard to come across a copy if you *really* want it (not that that's stopped VMP before but especially for something like this, I doubt it).

All this and it's terrible. Someone can come along a explain the "beauty, brilliance and difficulty" of what they were doing. In the end it's just bad music. Why doesn't matter.
