Don’t get carried away just yet, Dr Dre’s ‘2001’ and ‘2001 Instrumentals’ are getting reissues to be released on 15th November...Me right now, knowing that we will very likely get Playboi Carti’s Die Lit as the R&HH ROTM!

I don't know who the fuck Mach Hommy is, or what he did to you guys but every time I see his name at my local record shop I laugh out loud.
Also, if this isn't Public Enemy I'm gunna puke.
But if it is Public Enemy I'm gunna puke a rainbow of joy.
I would be happy with this. Skits are meh but songs are great. If its PE even better though. Seems a few of you want that even more!Don’t get carried away just yet, Dr Dre’s ‘2001’ and ‘2001 Instrumentals’ are getting reissues to be released on 15th November...
It would be incredible if it was Public Enemy’s “It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back”! I have it on vinyl, but like most of us, want a high quality pressing of it!
Having Public Enemy and Aretha Franklin in the same ROTM month would be unbelievable!
If you don’t think it’s Public Enemy Mather, then what is your prediction? Slick Rick?
Honestly I know I saw some but it's probably just a guest spot or something. There are no vinyl deals in Toronto. You do not just stumble across valuable records here. These store owners know their shit...U got Mach Hommy vinyl at your local!?!!
We need to discuss this revelation. If ur ever in there and start to laugh, think of me. I will send monies
What site are you seeing the instrumental reissue on?Don’t get carried away just yet, Dr Dre’s ‘2001’ and ‘2001 Instrumentals’ are getting reissues to be released on 15th November...
Take your pick (though I’ve put the date in the UK format so do the old Freedom Swap for the day and month if you need more US results):What site are you seeing the instrumental reissue on?
Got it! Thank you - I haven't been following this as I have another 2001 pressing but I think I need instrumentals too. I'm seeing some sealed OG instrumentals for like $20 shipped on Discogs so may just go with that, but wanted to compare prices.Take your pick (though I’ve put the date in the UK format so do the old Freedom Swap of the day and month if you need more US results):

If Mather is talking about the spot I think he is (Sonic Boom), it's Saturday Night Lights Vol. 1 & 2 for the low low price of $50 canadian plus tax. A steal
Ahhhh that makes sense!!! Lol I still need to grab that myself. Nature Sounds has it for 30USD
I mean, don't get me wrong - I love me some Mach but for like 12-14 minutes of him and Fahim over mehish beats.. I would pass on this. Hell, I bought it and paid like $13 for it and still feel I overpaid a bit.
You are correct sir.If Mather is talking about the spot I think he is (Sonic Boom), it's Saturday Night Lights Vol. 1 & 2 for the low low price of $50 canadian plus tax. A steal
No, I think when I got mine I saw someone mention that they are all like that. At least mine is an even dish I guess and not a roller coaster warp.Any of you whomst got the VMP Unapologetic Art Rap album. Did you get flat copies? My replacement for a dished copy seems even more dished
I think the VMP gang make vinyl like Swayze & Moore made pottery in GhostAny of you whomst got the VMP Unapologetic Art Rap album. Did you get flat copies? My replacement for a dished copy seems even more dished
Mmmmm couldn’t agree more with you on all of this! It’s so true that it’s hard to understand why It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back wouldn’t be an Essentials ROTM!?!? But also very true VMP like to go big in December!I know they said in the past that for this year they started to try to link the 3 tracks each month in one way or another. PE would certainly fit the bill here, what with the various Aretha samples... And if you're busting out hyperbole like "most important rap album ever" you have to imagine PE are in like, the top 5 possibilities. But in the past Storf has shown that his opinions on things like this seem to be... a little outside the norm. Especially when it comes to rap/hip hop. So... I'm not keeping my hopes up. I'm expecting something like Raising Hell, The Chronic or Straight Outta Compton... Which isn't bad at all, but if it's It Takes A Nation I don't know how that wouldn't be Essentials. However it is December and they like to go big at the end of the year so I guess it's possible... But I suspect I'm gunna be disappointed...
