Vinyl Me Please Rap & Hip Hop

I'm not aware of a recent Black on Both Sides reissue. Which one?

Haven't they done several RHH where that was true though? Seems like Classics is the only track they care about that for, right?
I'm sorry I misspoke, it was 2015 for Mos Def, so that would line up actually. As would Q Tip with no reissues at all since the OG.

Oh man, 1999 has some amazing potential. Here are my personal favs:

Peanut Butter Wolf - My Vinyl Weighs a Ton
Lootpack - Soundpieces: Da Antidote!
Mobb Deep - Murda Muzik
ODB - N**** Please (plz be this)
Method Man and Redman - Blackout!
Inspectah Deck - Uncontrolled Substance
Mos Def - Black on Both Sides
Pharoahe Monch - Internal Affairs
Q-Tip - Amplified

I really hope we get one of these 5 albums: 🤞

Mos Def - Black On Both Sides
Ol’ Dirty Bastard - N***a Please
Prince Paul - A Prince Among Thieves
Lootpack- Sound Piece: The Antidote
Q-Tip - Amplified

I’ve got the most recent Chronic 2001 reissue and it sounds really, really good! I would love VMP to do a Dr Dre Chronic 2001 ROTM but I know that wouldn’t happen. And if it ever did, I reckon it would be an Essentials ROTM! 💯

Cant wait for the next clue!!! 👀👀👀

Remember how I asked you all if your copies of Teflon Don sounded ok? Well I just got my third replacement today and guess what... a scratch across Ross' second verse on BMF. This is so disappointing 😓

I'm ok with a bit of surface noise here and there but if I'm hearing a constant scratching noise with every rotation, that's unacceptable to me 😪
