I read an article last year i think around the same time I watched Of Mics & Men & GZA said he wrote a bunch of ODB classic verses on Return 36 when he was a teen, he said ODB used to play around with his voice and those verses making them unique (Ason Unique) and they both had solo albums coming out in 95, GZA felt he grew out of those raps he wrote years before and of course let ODB have them because he could spit them better anyway

I always felt the Genius clue from Storf is a curveball to make ppl say oh its gotta be GZA but id argue for many members of Wu they are genius in there own way. No GZA album bar liquid swords is worth an R&HH ROTM press imo

speaking of the Wu has anyone seen or planning to see RZA’s new movie. I don’t know anything about it but movie theaters are open again so I might go check it out. ( and they were empty before the Corona I assume I’ll be the only one there )

I would be very disappointed if Grandmasters was the pick! It’s a 5/10 album for me, and is definitely not even in the top 20 Wu-related projects for me! I wouldn’t pay USD$33 for Grandmasters! ❌⛔️🤣

Agreed! I strongly believe we are either getting Ghostface Killah’s Fishscale, Ghostface Killah’s Apollo Kids, or Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s Return To The 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version - all of which are superb albums! 💎💎💎

Baby monster low-key knows that it’s out of those three albums! 🤫💯🤫
