Vinyl Me Please Rap & Hip Hop

I literally heard a loud THUNK at the door yesterday and that's how I knew my VMP shipment had arrived.
Yeah, my new carrier likes to toss them like frisbees. All about them corner dings lately. Although last week she spilled her drink on one so...I don't know what's worse. She's only temporary on this route but I think she hates me and my deliveries.

If you complain about this as well, you're basically an asshole because these are low-wage employees and apparently that enables them to give zero fucks. (According to the message boards in my neighborhood)*

*I do understand the perils of working for shit pay, but most of us have worked shit jobs and still probably had to gaf at one point or another.

VMP sending you three more? Time to get into the vinyl record clock-making business.
Not going to lie, this is what I do with albums that arrive damaged at times. I trade some things in if the damage isn’t astronomical, but something like that warp, I’d definitely make a clock out of it.

Are these the "mockups" that were posted to Reddit? I appreciate the posts, but man I hope the colorways are way more inspiring than just these plain colors. ESPECIALLY when it comes to Uzi Vert (which I'm not interested in personally) and ATCQ. Both those covers have colors that lend themselves to what could be really sweet looking records.
not mockups. these are the official ones. all pulled from the VMP site

Lil Uzi Vert ain’t for me, but I am looking forward to Pharcyde. Will need to give that UGK album a few more listens, but I’m not sure if it’s something I need. Not my favorite of theirs.

May is my last month under the old subscription price. I'm thinking I might jump back in with a 3-month or 6-month sub on occasion but man it's hard to justify spending upwards of $40+ on these.

A little bummed that Pharcyde is in June, as it's by far my favorite of the three RHH albums in this stretch. I might hold off and see what the following three-month announcement is and go back and pick it up then (assuming it doesn't sell out first)

Uzi with that glossy cover, it looks like they went all glam on this which really fits

It's probably gonna sell out fast seeing as the other pressings of this and LUV is rage are around 200 bucks on discogs for a single LP

Didn't realize Low End Theory is a 45. I have an early pressing thats a 33 and it sounds....okay. But I agree with ya that it's really hard to justify the price.

Doesn't sound to me like you $40 like it.
Yeah, that's the problem. I like it, but is it worth spending the international sub cost to get an EP? Probably not. I may wait this one out and see if there's a wider release down the line.

Couple of days after getting Blackalicious my local got it in, price wise though thankfully I think the VMP ended up being cheaper because it was an add-on.

Just wanna note this is not an ep, it's at least 30 minutes (9 tracks, 30 minutes, that's not an EP like str8 killa.. it's just a "commercial mixtape")

Whether you think it's worth the insane international price is up to how much you enjoy it, I totally see a ton of people dropping because price is a lot, it's only really considered worth it to some because it's very rare to get a copy (mostly because only a few copies and it's scalped hard), but especially with international buyers and the awful shipping given and bad QC

To me a fan it's a no brainer but it's definitely going to be hard for many

Just wanna note for context sake that Str8 Killa was an 8 track 35 minute length EP that plucks of the bests tracks from his Str8 Killa, No Filla mixtape.
