I'm listening now to close out my work day. I haven't noticed anything on side A thus far (thought I won't pretend to have a high end set up or anything either)

I had the issue with Wu and OutKast so I'm assuming I would know as well. My copy is relatively flat and sounds pretty damn good so I'm happy. Hopefully it's just a small quantity issue that you had...

I actually got a clean copy of 6ft! It's been a long while since I got a clean pressing of a VMP album that put a smile on my face like this did. The colorway is so pretty too. Empathy to those who have to do the usual CS grind, but man I'm excited I landed a clean copy on the first try.

On the positive side, you have 3 copies coming and you can keep the hopefully clean copy among them and worry about the CS replacements for your friends. Give them a true VMP experience.

Both of my Gravediggaz LPs are pristine with no right channel crackle or any other issues. I am a happy customer this month

Lots of crackle on my Gravediggaz sides C and D. I'll try to do more cleaning before I fire off an email to CS. Ahhh VMP... good to be back in the fold.

On today's episode of Open Mike Eagle's podcast, Secret Skin, Dave Ma said that he's working on the liner notes for The Coup - Genocide & Juice for VMP.

Fully expected to be disappointed by Gravediggaz (especially since I spun Bright Eyes earlier today and it did have the faintest of GZ crackle).

It's clean, and it's phenomenal. Definitely in my top 3 RHH albums VMP has put out.

I'd say the issue is not widespread, put in for those replacement copies until you get a clean one.

Hope all y'all that have crackle can get a clean copy, because they knocked it out of the park with this one. One of the few times I feel like the cost has justified the end product.

Absolutely no issues also on Tical and Tha Carter III. Both excellent pickups if one hasn't already acquired them.

Mine sounds great so far. I’m going to ask for a replacement sleeve for a crunched corner, but I’m relieved this isn’t going to end with me settling for an imperfect copy like with Wu-Tang.

Sorry the "working on" was apparently entirely my invention. It was in response to Mike asking him what he wanted people to look out for that he has coming up. His exact quote is "I have some liner notes coming out for Vinyl Me, Please. It's the liner notes for The Coup's Genocide & Juice."

He then goes on to say that he "just completed the liner notes for" Labcab. So it probably was recorded a while ago and that makes it sound like he may have had the Genocide & Juice liner notes completed first. I guess we'll see.
