Vinyl Me Please Rap & Hip Hop

The problem is nobody is really actually talking about this one, so I'm not sure if it's a pressing issue or if I've just gotten a defective product. No discog reviews, nothing here and aside from one person complaining about "ring wear" on Reddit, nobody's talking about how it sounds there either.
Well my 2 TVZs had the same issue. Right channel noise. Same thing virtually every GZ press I get from VMP has. First Beasties even had a little too, although second copy was clean. I can't wait until they stop using that garbage facility for their pressings.

I haven't even spun Beasties yet, my time is pretty limited lately, but I anticipate even a small amount of crackle (which would be disappointing since every other BB pressing I have are clean and sound for the most part fantastic). Still trying to get through the other 2 discs of NIN's "The Fragile" which is a case study right now of using proper pressing plants. NIN (except Pretty Hate Machine which is 'meh') does it right (almost) every single time.

There is a good Pretty Hate Machine, but he ain’t got the rights to that, so it ain’t him.

So which Wu member album we looking at for the Staten Island hint?

Safe guess: Inspectah Deck
Out there pick: They somehow snagged Liquid Swords.

How is that Deck album? I thought they lost the tapes in a flood before it came out and the eventual release wasn't great...
Haven't listened in awhile tbh so going back on old reviews and yeah, not great.

Nothing truly exciting to me fills the clues really. Maybe Cappadonna which seems to not have gotten a press since it dropped. A definitive version of Liquid Swords however would be fantastic here even though I recently paid way too much for a copy.

Killarmy is also a possibility here.
Can't see them doing OB4CL, Iron Man just had it's anniversary pressing, and they've already done Meth so definitely not one of the big ones here.

Not sure if anything past GZA, Rae or Ghostface is going to do it for me, wait could it be the Wu-Massacre album?!? Ghost, Rae and Meth all from Strong Island...my buddy was so hyped when he heard that album was going to drop, I don't think it lived up to his personal level of hype!

That Coup album is great easy cop!

The Earl is good but too short for me, might end up copping anyways if nothing else strikes my fancy

I would be good with Inspecta Deck. I would also be down with a Liquid Sword as I wouldn’t mind replacing my Marvel artwork copy with the original album art.
