It’s a pretty good album but it isn’t anything special in my opinion. It’s a 6.5/10 album.
YG’s Still Brazy is an incredible album though. That album is special!

Would love some Vince Staples or Push (really doubt it's Pusha-T since they've already hit up Clipse). Summertime could easily be considered a modern classic, and wouldn't work in the Essentials class, like Channel Orange or any of the Kanye's would. I could also see Rated R being more of an Essentials pick, so I don't see it being the choice here.

I agree the Jay-z album is meh but storf is a big outkast fan and that big boi album was SOLID AF
That big sean album had alot of attention.. had great features and had big hits so in terms of popularity I put it on the list even tho I know alot of people here hate him xD

My Krazy Life runs circles around Still Brazy. M K L is a high 8/low 9 where the rest of his catalog is 7.5 at best.

mmmmm most people prefer My Krazy Life much more over Still Brazy so I definitely understand. My Krazy Life is the more ‘loved’ album amongst his fans and heaps of people consider it a classic. I just didn’t connect to it as much even though I still think it’s a solid album.
