Vinyl Me Please Rap & Hip Hop

Its going to be Pusha T or Vince Staples regardless tho lol
Why, because I think so??? šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Thereā€™s so many possibilities. We canā€™t get too confident. I can honestly imagine it being Big K.R.I.T. or 2 Chainz. Itā€™s definitely possible!

But yeah, it would be nice to get a non-picture disc vinyl variant of Big Fish Theory. I feel you!

I feel like itā€™s going to be Pusha Tā€™s My Name is My Name. It will be as big as the OutKast Rap & Hip-Hop ROTM! @Jmcg85 - Your dreams might be coming true man!!!!!

The only other album I have a feeling it could be would be Vince Staplesā€™ Summertime 06ā€™. It would be nice to receive the whole album as a 2LP in a gatefold jacket! That would also be a huge get!

Thereā€™s also Big Boiā€™s 2010 album ā€œSir Lucious.....ā€, which would be viewed as a modern classic but we just had OutKast in June so I doubt it will be Big Boi.

Iā€™m so keen to narrow down more possibilities and cannot wait to get another clue from Storf!!!
Holy shishhhhkebab what the??? What am I missing.... MNIMN might be next months RHH ROTM wha!!!!! I'm losing my mind if it's this

Would love this, but I don't see Storf calling this a modern Defjam classic, or comparing it to Outkast.

I know :(

I think Tefflon Don and God Forgives I Don't are modern Def Jam classics. I actually prefer God Forgives.

I do know storf is a huge push fan though so there is that but what if he means modern Def Jam as in under UMG umbrella...after 2015

Hmm they said classic tho.. is pusha T widely accepted as classic?

Big sean.. leaning towards NO although had alot of buzz around dark sky paradise I just dont think its "classic" .
Vince Staples maybe..(Big Fish Theory is fire)
Jayz newer releases.. hope not.. not classics.
Rick Ross.. hell nah
2chains.. please no
Big Boi ? Hell yeah.

Not kanye.
2010-2019
MNIMN instant classic best album of 2013 imo

My Name is My Name would be dope and I would love to see it as the RHH pick. But I am a little skeptical of this being as big as the Outkast release. I could maybe see it being Watch the Throne or Yeezus, since I don't think those would fit in Essentials as well as the rest of Kanye's work. The only artists with Def Jam releases this decade that I see being on a similar level as Outkast are Kanye, Jay-Z, The Roots, Frank Ocean, and maaaybe Push. Probably missing a couple, though.
