Vinyl Me Please Rap & Hip Hop

Yeah, I thought it was something like Def Jam wouldn't release it cuz they thought it was shit and FO just leaked himself. So I suppose Def Jam would still own it. but it was one of those weird Yankee Hotel Foxtrot type situations.

I mean Frank DID say soon, when asked about Channel Orange but thatd have to be essentials. I suppose best pick so far is My Name is My Name. A first pressing of a Pusha album is big as Outkast in my opinion. Plus Storf loves Pusha

Agree with some of the posts I'm seeing in here. Honestly the phrase "modern classic" itself is a complete oxymoron. I don't think something can be called a classic until at least a decade has passed and we can really see how relevant it still is and how much it has held up.
The only exception is for Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly. That album is a stone cold classic even though it was released this decade!

Classic for me is a timeless album thats widely accepted as amazing. Or atleast strongly tipped to be a timeless work of art/brilliance.

And normally rare.

And TBH none of the deff jam fit it perfectly. Close is big boi/vince and pusha.

No summertime 06 puts vince at the back of the line.
With another outkast coming that puts big boi back of the line.
Leaving Pusha.

Any more news on the upcoming pusha yet? lol

I've got the VMP, an original and the album on 45 boxset. What do you need me to do? I can try it later

Would definitely love to hear an A/B of the original vs. VMP. I have an original from 20 years ago that has been spun to death so I love the album it's just.. I dunno, I'm VERY skeptical of rap records being remastered at 45rpm so if you can comment on the quality comparison between those two.. that'd be awesome!

thats 3x more then me haha

dude. you need this record.
