Pilot Talk is the only modern classic on this list IMO. I have a feeling it's gonna be Teflon Don, though...
True that.Reading all these guesses has reminded me that the word classic has lost all meaning.
There’s also Big Boi’s 2010 album “Sir Lucious.....”, which would be viewed as a modern classic but we just had OutKast in June so I doubt it will be Big Boi.

Ur leaving me hanging! What do u think is a classic from Def Jam, from the last decade?
Edit: do u think it could be My Name is My Name?
classic = alright. Nuance is dead.Reading all these guesses has reminded me that the word classic has lost all meaning.
I'm not sure a classic album has been released in the last ten years. That's really the whole thing about becoming a classic. It takes time to become one and I'm not even sure ten years is enough time to qualify anything as a classic.

Fair point. I just really wanna hear more guesses because VMP got me with this one. The hype is high as hell right now.
LOL... I love Fishscale. I don't think it's classic but to me it's like my 3rd favorite Ghostface album.Time for me to put my hater hat on I guess but Ghostface's More Fish or Fishcale or whatever? His worst fucking album is now considered by some to be a classic? Jesus fucking christ.

I should like it a lot more than I do as I have several friends that worked on that record but man, besides The Champ, I honestly think that record is trash.
I ain't even a FO dickrider like that and I'm not a fan of VMP by any means but that record would get me to resub as my shit runs out in September.
That "mixtape" is in my top 20 all time. Thatd be insane, but I think released independent of Def Jam
Yeah, I thought it was something like Def Jam wouldn't release it cuz they thought it was shit and FO just leaked himself. So I suppose Def Jam would still own it. but it was one of those weird Yankee Hotel Foxtrot type situations. It's definitely on Def Jam. Again, I fucking love that record so it's one of the few FO output that I know about.
