Interesting, the Orders page has seen an update which helps make it easier to see when pre-orders are estimated to ship. Skull Session has an "early August" estimated date for anyone wondering.

Have you seen that for sold out RotMs the VMP store now says "Waitlist me please"? You can enter your email and are supposed to be informed when the record is back in store. I assume maybe by this they want to see which records have the highest demand for a repress?
Also "Aretha now" seems to be available again.

This is the best improvement they've made in a long time IMO (although swapping for credit is pretty good too). I was literally checking all my orders this morning to see when they would ship, and getting frustrated each time I clicked on one of my orders for a title that sold out and getting a 404 Page Not Found.

This may be a dumb question, but is the only difference between VMP’s Tidal Waves variants and the others the color?
In other words, are they pressed at the same place? Is there any sound quality difference on the VMP variants? Thinking of just getting the Bull Moose variant since there doesn’t seem to be much of a difference.

I’m enjoying this record but I don’t love it. Even though the colour variant looks nice, it’s a pass from me as I don’t think the sound quality will be amazing on this one, it won’t be like a Classics ROTM or Blue Note Tone Poet quality pressing. So yeah, it’s a hard pass for me on this unfortunately!
What are you thinking @Selaws ? Are you going to get this or pass on this one too?
Really, really, really want that Oliver Nelson “Skull Session” exclusive though!

oh hey hi, I’m here again.
some of you may remember me talking about my cancelled subs acting like ghosts- charging me and shipping, but no record of an active membership.
I messaged weeks ago to ensure this didn't happen for another month, for another record I don't want from a company I don't like with a budget that's tight... and they got back to me after I was charged for June. "I apologize for the late reply. I went ahead and cancelled that for you now. Let me know if you need anything else!"
just had a package delivered.
no word as to my complaints of being charged for a months-ago ended sub for records I didn't plan on buying.

I was able to enter my email for any sold out title I was interested in, no matter if Classics, Rap, Essentials or exclusives. Sometimes I needed to click on them twice or even 3 times. I did so when I had posted about this earlier. Not sure if it's different now.
Anyone else get the Perfume Genius variant and notice that there is no BG in the run out? The VMP site states that it’s mastered by Patricia Sullivan at Bernie Grundman mastering. Wouldn’t the BG still be there? Instead it’s printed “mastered by capital”
