I don’t want Bob Dylan! I’ve got some of his 60’s & 70’s albums on vinyl - all MoFi pressings too! But I don’t want this album from him! He just sounds so much like an old man, it’s so attractive to my ears 🙈🤷‍♂️😝

That‘s because he was an old man in 2006, he’s an older man now and he’s just released another masterpiece. Modern Times is a really good album and Workingman Blues #2 is a great song but if you don’t want it that fine, just maybe don’t be quite so shallow and dismissive.

True, I take back what I said! I did come off as really shallow there! I guess it’s just not completely my cup of tea! Shouldn’t have mentioned that he sounds old 😅
 
In other news, the VMP Colter Wall variant sold out some time overnight.

...I did end up going with it. Coke bottle clear is boring on its own, but I think it actually matches the clear orange VMP release of Songs of the Plains pretty well.

I am intrigued to hear his take on Marty Robbins.

Sahara is one of the best jazz albums of all time, I have a decent copy, so I’ll probably pass. However, if this is the classic pick, I imagine it should sell out, I listen to it all the time

I’ll be looking forward to spinning The Greatest if it in fact the Essentials ROTM! It would also mean that the VMP pressing would probably sound spectacular too! 😃

Seemed to me like just a different mock-up photo. But yeah, there's definitely some trickery here with the "exclusive" label and timing of the drops.
