It sounds as though it was a full re-press, so hopefully they are loaded for the demand. That said, knowing VMP, they will somehow manage to turn an easy win into a shitshow.

I joined VMP a few months after 'Demon Days' was ROTM. I have been an intermittent member for the past three years, and have passed up countless opportunities to grab it via swaps and other options repeatedly. With apologies to those who love it, I have streamed it many times and it does absolutely nothing for me. Am I the only one?

I’m in the same boat. I enjoy the album enough when I’m streaming it but see 0 scenarios where I would ever want to spin it ...

Hmmm. I really want BD. It was a big fiasco last time when I gave my copy away as a gift and then got the oversold email when they put a few more back up. I’d love to get another copy but I won’t be around for swaps today (work). I emailed CS. I’ll see what they say about it.

Part of me is slightly bummed because it means "muh value" of my copy will drop with it being more widely available. But that's really selfish of me because I wasn't planning on flipping my copy anyway, so how much it resells for is meaningless to me.

Dearie Blossom is really a beautiful record, so if you're unsure if you want to pick this up, I really can recommend it, having that one.

My copy of The National High Violet should be arriving today. If it looks like the pic previously posted I'm asking for a partial refund. I get mockups can look different but that's an enormous difference. I would have gone with the Cherry Tree Variant instead.

They need to repress all her Verve albums.

I get the feeling the new Verve reissue series is going to be doing just that. Their first couple months have reissues for Peggy Lee and Sarah Vaughn, I can only imagine they’re aware of the demand for Blossom Dearie since VMP pressed her s/t last year.

Singlecut is probably my favorite brewery, both the brewery itself and consistency in selection (especially as a NEIPA fan). One of the top things I miss about Astoria.

I know someone else said that HBMS disappeared and would roughly be the same time frame. Wouldn't be surprised if that wasn't repressed to bundle with Prince Paul.

You know what would be a cool essentials pick? XTC's Drums and Wires. Hasn't been reissue by Ape House (yet) and is relatively sought after in a way. Plus that cover...just legendary!

if theres a regular reissue at some point thats great, if not thats fine too . ill pass at 40$
