I doubt they send a full copy again but I’ll keep ya in mind.If you get a new one...I'd be down to grab that old one from ya

I think if you can spare 60 or so USD, for for the 45 RPM version of this LPI’ve been screwed over several times by VMP and swore not to give them my business beyond my subscription to Classics and the occasional add on track.
But I really want this Sonny Sharrock record. Do I give in? Or do I stand my ground?
Take a Picture
The first vinyl reissue of the elusive—and expensive—sole LP release from Margo Guryan, we have 'Take A Picture' on its legendary mono mix and red vinyl.www.vinylmeplease.com
My prediction is that it will last by the weekend! I hope it does for your sake as it’s such a great album, and the pressing details seem great too!Anyone think this will last by weekend? New Credit card statement starts Saturday

Good advice. $60 is a bit more than I want to spend, so I think I’ll hold off a bit and see if the prices go down a bit on that 45 RPM pressing. Worst case, I’ll swallow my pride and purchase it from VMP if need be.I think if you can spare 60 or so USD, for for the 45 RPM version of this LP
if not this still isn't bad considering how much that 45 RPM price
but it also can be argued that with 2k floating around now, the 45 RPM version may go down in price slightly
Sonny Sharrock records (at least some titles) are fairly easy to find, so this isn't say like a Noah Howard record or something
Also keep in mind bigger free jazz artists like Sun Ra and Cecil Taylor are still available at VMP....so if you wanna wait a month or 2 I think you would be ok? Goes to show for the most part free jazz isn't want your normal VMP jazz person is looking for. This and the Cecil Taylor record are worth getting (especially with the Taylor record on sale), another reason why I'm legit surprised that VMP not only pressed this amount, but pressed it period..
Same. Although I tried to rejoin for 3 months at $87 and it won't let me for some reason. I guess VMP doesn't want my moneyI want to jump on that "deal" but have no interest in the essential and already have a copy of the Prince Paul that I'm happy with. I've sent an email to the blackhole that is VMP CS to see if I have to choose from just those 2 anyone have experience from the last sale?

The Cecil Taylor still being there after all this time still blows my mind. I bought that and the Art Ensemble Of Chicago record for a combined total of around £20 back during one of the other sales they had, which is well worth the money.I think if you can spare 60 or so USD, for for the 45 RPM version of this LP

Note to self to turn auto renewal off in the future.I only ask because it's a renewal offer. You have to be currently unsubscribed to get the email.
::Ray Liotta laughing gif::Have they unveiled the replacement to the forum yet?
Such horse shit they "sold out" in swaps only to be available the day after swaps close for an $11 and $17 markup. I wish I could say I am surprised. I got mine in swaps (HBMS, Blossom isn't quite my style) but had a friend that missed out.The re-stocks of Blossom Dearie ($34) and HBMS ($40) are live in the store. If you like rolling the dice, you could risk waiting to see if either makes it to swaps next month. No word on the size of either re-pressing.
Blossom Dearie
'Blossom Dearie' lays out Dearie’s basic mission: music that transports the listener to a room where she herself might be singing directly to them.www.vinylmeplease.comSo... How's Your Girl?
With collaborators as disparate as Beastie Boys rapper Mike D, digital hardcore don Alec Empire, and members of Cibo Matto, the album makes for a unique listening experience.www.vinylmeplease.com
Yeah, I just messaged him (@IrishGoodbye )Someone here missed out on the Blossom Dearie restock--anybody remember who it was?
