Let’s hope America do make it because i love VMP so much! The real question is “Will America make it to 2021?”

To be honest if we do get this fabled 'Crate Diggers' track I imagine it would basically be Now Again.we do NOT need another track
i mean we got essentials planned by mr what would you do with more time and (probably) cameron but given to the press by storf
hip hop which i wouldn't be surprised if thats just crashprez doing 99% of that
and classics which is owned by storf
we cant have a country sub curated by storf (aka 2 of the 4 packages done by storf), we would probably need newer people who we know the personal opinions of to curate the subs so that we can get people who truly care about these genres that understand a lot of what people want and how to curate it... sure for a track as big as essentials having it be democratic and debated all you want for "what can we do that we feel everyone should be given", but for these nicher tracks we should have someone who knows these details about what each someone into these genres would want.. basically so we can completely stop getting shit like honest
I like Anthologies, but I would definitely prefer an extra ROTM track moreso then the Anthologies, as the VMP Anthologies are overpriced! I have never listened to any of the podcasts and don’t care for the extras...And if we are speculating will another track mean the end of anthologies? Because it will be hard to keep everything afloat and some anthologies must be massive losses
But I think VMP would choose great picks! If it is the Crate-diggers coming in 2021, they would already have around 5-8 ROTM’s lined up! It would be premium selections! To be honest if we do get this fabled 'Crate Diggers' track I imagine it would basically be Now Again.

I think VMP is missing a wider range of voices in the selection process. I'd love to see Vinyl Me Pardner come from someone a bit older.
I don't know if there's currently anyone involved with the track selections thats outside the age range of 22-35? Probably mostly white and suburban?
I remember in a VMP editorial Cam wrote about his experience of listening to Clipse while in a high school or college locker room and his discovery and passion around the album. Who is going to do that pre-2000? Who is putting people on for older music from lived experiences?
Who is going to pick a country record from '91 that maybe wasn't top of the charts that we can go back to and glorify on the internet, but was something that was more under the radar and loved by many?
Sorry if this doesn't make sense, substances are coming into my body.
never can have too many albums from the '90s.my particular fave eras of music are '70s & '90s, but love all kinds of muisc/genres from the '60s to very early '00s.after like '08 not a very big fan of modern bands and music.I think this is the problem. The influences are too similar. Too much 90s and 00s. If they do a country sub we’ll miss out on George Jones and only have modern Alt acts. I guess 90s and 00s sells to their membership Gorillaz, Fiona and QOTSA, but my preference as a collector is older works

Now Again, Tidal Waves Music, Mr Bongo, etc... Basically taking profit of other label's digging work to make colored version of records they don't even care about and sell it as they discovered it by themselves (ExperienceUnlimitedGate).. [EDIT] And sell it for $15/20 more of course.
i love the albums Now Again reissues but in my opinion their pressing quality is not good albums come scuffed up with paper debris and surface noise.i've had people stand behind them as a quality label as far as quality control my experience has not been very good.Is Now again actually a good label when it comes to pressing quality? I used to think they have poor quality, but maybe I'm mixing them up with something else.

Yes!Do we really believe that VMP will deliver something they are currently teasing ?
Can’t wait to use the 10% to get whatever store exclusives I want + Whitney Houston Boxset + The Bar-Kays’ “Cold Blooded”!
Yes, if you go on Whitney Houston’s website, the first thing that comes up on the webpage is a picture of the Boxsets in the warehouse! You're gonna buy the WH boxset? Are you even sure they exist?

I think that’s why the Boxset has been selling well, because it’s been promoted through the Whitney Houston newsletter/website! There’s only 20 copies left!!!
Fingers crossed! I’m going to go to bed now, and then set my alarm for 2:00am. I’ll buy whatever store exclusives I want that drop, plus the Whitney Boxset with the 10% off code! That coupon saves me $7 with the Whitney Houston Boxset which is good, because that’s like a savings of AUD$10!That sounds very likely. Hope you'll still get one later. Fingers crossed
