See and that’s a good example! You’ve already received your Gwen Stefani order and mine hasn’t shipped yet! I definitely imagine they have a lot of orders to fulfill though! Of course I would’ve wanted UO to ship my order on time like they did with you, but all good they can’t. They’ll do it eventually. Same thing for VMP, like, they are worse with shipping deadlines for sure, but same kinda idea. I haven’t gotten my Tyner McCoy yet but they shipped it not long ago and is coming with Bar-Kays and Lord Finesse!

Lucky for you, you can go to an UO store and refund/replace the item. I don’t have that option. If it’s not good, UO won’t replace it for me and will want me to send it back, which will cost me like AUD$40! I know I’m taking a risk though! Like I know there’s a good chance there will be an issue but I love the album so much, I’m willing to make the risk haha

Don’t worry, I think one of the PIFs is one that you’re after, so I’ll definitely let you know once i dig it out and it’s ready to go. I think you will likely have all the ones I’m putting up for sale but I’ll give you the scoop on them anyway 😂

tbh.. kinda both...

i wanted it a lot.. but i hate the idea of missing something that i know i love... thats also why i have brittany howard and denzel curry on my RSD list... i could just stream denzel and brittany seems like a niche live album but i know i really like them and wanted to buy them. so my brain is always living off fomo

Sorry, I apologise. I was being insensitive and actually thought you really liked Ghostface Killlah’s Fishscale. But I understand it now. You know the album is highly regarded, critically acclaimed and you don’t want to regret missing out on it if you do happen to love the project! I didn’t mean to come off as predatory at all! 🙈

My bad again! Definitely a miscommunication on my behalf! 🤝

i do like what i HEARD of the project btw....

i just only listened to about up to whip you with a strap and yeah its pretty good but i dunno if i wanna hear the 2nd half

mmmm if you don’t think you wanna hear the second half of the album, it’s probably a good indication that Fishscale isn’t worth picking up, especially at USD$33! I think the second half is great and I would be happy to walk you through the songs briefly and say why I love it all. But if you’re not motivated to listen to the second half of the album, it speaks for itself. It isn’t worth picking up Fishscale at this moment!

Their CS is pretty good here and always offer a replacement or full refund while keeping the damage. Luckily for non sold out items it always works out but its still annoying

the issue with fishscale is its 25 tracks long... if it was say 16 tracks i wouldn't mind and immediately go with it, but with the skits and the many other songs on the record i feel like i couldn't sit through the whole thing

It seems to depend on where theyre shipped from. Most of mine are in a white uline type mailer and then in a bigger cardboard box with big bubble wrap around the Uliner. Generally come in perfect and are always shipped via Lasership (an easy coast shipping service Ive literally only seen used by them).

Occasionally, but more often recently, they have been shipped via ups in a flimsy cardboard mailer and almost always show up trashed.

So weird they offer a replacement whilst keeping the damage. They’ve never done that for me. Must be dependent on what CS rep you get! If my Gwen Stefani is faulty, I’m going to keep emailing CS until they send a replacement because I know they let others keep the faulty one! I’m not going to accept returning mine to their address.

I was being a bit insensitive though with Dukey, I have to admit! 😶

I think I can’t help but just get so excited when I really like a ROTM pick though! I still think Ghostface Killah’s Fishscale is the best Rap & Hip-Hop ROTM this year along with Prince Paul! 💎👌
