Ok, I've now had time to listen to more of this and... I'm really digging it. I still wouldn't use "punk" to describe any of it, but it does kind of bounce around with its heaviness from track to track. I like it.

I also just realized that despite being a member for over two years, I have only one Rising: Charlotte Day Wilson. I should probably do something about that.

Edit: I'd like some more dream pop in my collection, which this ain't it either. What was the last VMP dream poppish release? Crumb? That was a great album.

I think those are issues of the past. I have the Gorillaz press and it sounds great.

To be honest, recycled vinyl is going to be an environmental necessity going forward at some point if the hobby continues to be strong.

Yeah, I can confirm that the recycled vinyl VMP pressing for Gorillaz’ Song Machine Sounds excellent! ✅

I’ve also got the recycled exclusive pressing for Disclosure’s ENERGY and it also sounds really good! Pressing is quiet and doesn’t have pops! Super impressed! 💎

And both coloured variants for those recycled pressings looked so pretty too! I was super impressed! 👌

I'm hoping they put some more back in swaps but I could see that being a one-and-done thing where they'll say if you want more Jazz Dispensary titles, go buy them at full-price in the store.

I'd love to be wrong, though! I swapped for three titles this month and would totally finish them up this upcoming month if they're offered. Still need that Purdie and DeJohnette!

I just ordered the Purdie & Idris titles, my assumption (probably way off) was that they would be the most popular. I'm hoping the DeJohnette & Leon Spencer will be in swaps. Here's hoping.

just listening to the Donny Hathaway, that sounds pretty great. I'm impressed with this months delivery, think it might be the best in a long time.

Yes, you are correct! The Idris Muhammad and Bernard Purdie are both easily the two most popular titles!

The other three jazz dispensary titles have more than 200+ each in stock, not including the bundle!

There are 114 copies left of the Idris Muhammad and only 95 copies of the Bernard Purdie left!

The Bernard Purdie is the one likely to sell out first! Then the Idris Muhammad. The others will likely stay in stock for a long time and will be sold out via swaps I’m sure in the future!

I love Prince so much so thanks for that recommendation! I didn’t grab the deluxe boxset, just the remastered 2020 pressing (peach coloured variant). Would love to eventually own that epic box set one day though! 😍

I am so happy the Jazz Dispensary titles weren’t part of a boxset! It would’ve been more expensive! The Jazz Dispensary titles are probably my favourite VMP exclusives from this year! So good! 🔥🔥🔥

Is your discogs up to date? Do you have any idea how many records you got this year? I just figured out mine and thought it was a lot but then I thought of you and that you probably added more.

I checked the other day. Including albums in box sets I'm a little over 100 on the year. Didn't think it was that much but also could have been way worse

Ugh, I should not have looked. I added 250+ In the past 12 months. I didn’t count them all but I had to click over to page 2 and I had the page limit maxed out to 250. There are some 7” in there and a few cassette tapes too so that take it down a bit (but there are also a few box sets in the mix too)
